Hardee's Gang Cruise-In

The Hardee's Gang Cruise-in is an event that is held each and every Saturday night all year long at Hardee's in Dandridge, Tennessee. Classic and antique vehicles from all the surrounding counties come each week. Some weeks there are 70-80 cars and other weeks we only have a few. There are the regulars that come each week from Jefferson City, Dandridge and Newport and then the ones that just show up from time to time.
In the warm weather, we gather outside sitting in chairs after we go in and eat the delicious food. When it is cold we gather inside and just enjoy the companionship. Almost everyone eats and the employees that work there are the best, treating us very well.
There are all models of classic and antique vehicles from A-Models (of which we have quite a few) on up to the thirties, forties, fifties, sixties ..... everyone is welcome. Even a few Rat-Rods are there.
It is so strange, when people are looking at the cars, they go right past the high dollar cars to view the Rat-Rods! We have a few that are very interesting indeed.
